This week -

Legal Geekery released the 9th episode of their pseudo-podcast. In this episode they pronounce some tricky legal words, and do other stuff.

The Australian Professional Liability Blog takes a quick look at some legal authorities dealing with plagiarism. We don’t link to this to encourage getting around plagiarism, but rather to show it’s a big deal and you shouldn’t do it – even after you graduate.

Lawyers Weekly wrote about lawyers using social media. The article looks at the pros and cons of social media use for lawyers, contrasting the Mallesons’ IP Whiteboard and the archive of social legal media horror stories.

Slaw did a review for the Checklists Manifesto and the Smarter Lawyer and gave it a hearty endorsement. Might be something worth reading for those of us with not a lot going on right now.

The Mac Lawyer pooled together an archive of Apple Nerd stuff regarding the new jesus-device soon to be released. To summarise, lawyers and Apple fans find an excuse to buy a new gadget.

Lawjobs.com Career Centre wrote a great article on asking clever questions in your legal interview. If you think you might be interviewing for a position sometime soon – make sure you read it!
