Join the Little Law Network in Three Easy Steps

The whole point of the LLN is to make finding and connecting with other legal people as easy as possible. So we’ve cut down the membership process to the bare minimum.

1. Register

We need to know who you are, so to make our introductions easier we’ve added this very easy form for you to fill in.

Your Name (required)

Your Email (required)

Any Comments for the LLN Team?

This information gets put into our super secret database. We never ever ever release your email to anyone, it is entirely private and only to be used by us to improve and better understand the LLN.

If you’re not comfortable releasing any of the above information, that’s ok, send us an email anyways and call yourself ‘Sam the Jedi Knight from Bendigo’ or something equally weird.. You might not get the same benefit from the Network if you chose to remain anonymous, but we get it.

The truth is, filling out the above form is all you need to do to ‘join’ the Little Law Network. The rest of the stuff below is just for extra credit.

2. Register

Next you need to register with some of the social media channels so you can talk with us and with other members of the network. So, here is another helpful list:

  • Linkedin- This is the most important of the social media channels. If you ignore the others we suggest you should still register for this. When you register, join the Little Law Network Group.
  • Twitter – It gets made fun of a lot, but we love twitter. Sign up for an account and follow @llawnet.
  • Facebook – Chances are you already have a Facebook profile, but if not then create one, set it to super private and become a fan of LLN on Facebook.
  • RSS Feed – The RSS Feed isn’t so much a social media channel, as it isn’t really used for communication between members, but it’s a good way to keep up with what’s happening on the blog.

3. Connect

Ok, really there is no third step, it’s a two step process – but three sounds much better so we had to come up with a third thing to say.

So, the third step is to start connecting. You can do this in a number of ways:

  • Invite other people to the Little Law Network – Send them the website link, get them to sign up and you’ve already got friends within the network that you can use when needed (and we sneakily used you to build our numbers, see how we sneakily did that? Sneaky).
  • Introduce yourself to others – You can check out our Facebook Fan Page to find other members.
  • Connect via Linkedin – After joining the Linkedin Group you can then use that group as a way of connecting with other legal professionals in your area or legal niche.
  • Comment on the Blog – Occasionally we will open up comments on particular blog articles and invite people to tell us what they think.

And that’s it!

See? It’s pretty simple. The important thing is that you let us know who you are and that you want to be a member of the Network.  If you’re not into one of (or all) of the social media channels, that’s cool, don’t join them. Perhaps you’d just like to follow the Blog and keep in touch via emails.

There are no hard and fast rules or requirements for the Little Law Network. The thing is, the more you participate, the more likely you’re going to get some benefit out of it.

So start right now!
